I. Programs and Admission Requirements:

1. Undergraduate Programs:

The normal period of study for each program is 4 or 5 years(Clinical Medicine and Preventive Medicine) for undergraduate degree. Xiangnan University divides every academic year into spring and autumn semesters, with the latter marking the commencement of the academic year. The autumn semester starts in September.Applications begin from Mar.1th to June 30th. Students are required to complete the curriculum according to the teaching plan and fulfill the designated number of credits. Qualified graduates will receive a graduation certificate along with the bachelor’s degree, pursuant to the Degree Regulations of the People's Republic of China.Those graduates failed to meet the requirement but with certain academic years will receive a certificate of completion.

2. Non-graduate Programs:

Non-graduate programs(including short-term language courses), are required to complete the curriculum in half a year or a year and must be less than two years. The semester starts in September or February every year. We can offer curriculum according to the different need of short-term language courses.Except for learning Chinese, we also have some cultural activities and traveling. Applications are available around the year. Qualified students will receive a certificate of completion when fulfill the study.

II. Application Requirements and What-to-prepare for Application:

2. Application Requirements

(1) Undergraduate program applicant are expected:

A. Senior high school graduation certificate or corresponding certificate;

B. HSK level 4 for liberal arts programs;HSK level 3 for science programs;

If without HSK certification,the applicant should provide other Certificate of Chinese Level;

C. Certificate of No criminal Record.

(2) Non-graduate programs(including short-term language courses)are expected:

A. The highest graduation academic degree or corresponding certificate;

B. The standard of admission to short-term language students can be lower but with the age of no less than 16 years old.

C. Certificate of No criminal Record.

3. What-to-prepare for Application

(1) Undergraduate program applicants should prepare for the following materials:

A. Application Forms for International Students of XNU;

B. Copies of senior high school graduation certificate and transcript;

C. The copy of passport;

D. Physical Examination Record For Foreigner(Please affix a 2 inches personal photo) ;

E. 8 pieces of 1 inches personal photos.

F. Certificate of No criminal Record.

(2) Non-graduate programs(including short-term language courses) applicants should prepare for the following materials:

A. Application Forms for International Students of XNU;

B. Copies of the highest graduation certificate and transcript;

C. The copy of passport;

D. Physical Examination Record For Foreigner(Please affix a 2 inches personal photo) .

E. 8 pieces of 1 inches personal photos.

F. Certificate of No criminal Record.

Note:

1.All graduation certificate and transcript required should be written in Chinese and English;Other language materials should have notarised translation copy.

2.All applicants should be healthy, well behaved and have corresponding graduation certificate.

III. Application Procedures:

1. Offer materials：Application Forms for International Students of XNU(download online); Copies of the highest graduation certificate and transcript; The copy of passport;The copy of Physical Examination Record For Foreigner; Curriculum Vitae (CV); The latest HSK certificate.

2. Submit the processing fee (non-refundable).The processing fee can be paid by cash or cheque. And you can also tansfer the entry fee to the following account:

Admission: After receiving your application materials and the processing fee,the International Cooperation and Exchange Office will evaluate all your materials.Once accepted,we will notify the applicants,and send Admission Notice and Application Forms for International Students (JW202) to the applicant.
